I grew up in a family of Realtors. My grandparents started Metro West Realty in 1962 and it has since been passed down to my mother and Principal Broker, Randi Ausland and me. Although Real Estate is in my blood, I had to find my own path. When I was attending college I began renovating homes on the side. It was at this point that I fell in love with the old Portland style homes that line the streets of this city's historic neighborhoods. This experience sparked my passion for architecture, interior design and the restoration process.

When I left college, I began buying and selling investment property, including foreclosed homes.  This led me to getting my Real Estate License so that I could train other investors how to navigate this tricky market. When I obtained my Broker's license, I chose to specialize in the entire Portland Metropolitan area.  I wanted to work with people in all aspects of Real Estate and cover multiple cities and neighborhoods around Portland.  My goal is to be a one stop shop for my clients.  Whether you are looking for an investment property, acreage in wine country, a classic bungalow or a contemporary urban loft, I have the skills and experience to navigate the entire Real Estate process and help you find the ideal location!

Real Estate transactions consist of a lot of details that are always changing. In this fluid market, it is essential to provide my clients with timely information and solutions to whatever situation arises. I always conduct my business with a sense of urgency. Another top priority is continuing education in all areas of Real Estate. I pride myself on giving my clients the most accurate and up to date information in today’s market. As the market changes, so do I. A few years back, I received my Certified EcoBroker license in an effort to gain more knowledge and experience with the growing demand for “green homes”.  Buyers and sellers are increasingly drawn towards making energy efficient and environmentally sensitive choices to increase their comfort level and save money!
