In a world dominated by corporate owned Real Estate companies, Metro-West Realty stands apart. We have been a part of the local community since 1962, establishing Tualatin's first Real Estate Company. The founders of our company, Lee and Peggy Gensman came to Tualatin when the population consisted of only 198 residents.
Lee and Peggy Gensman, one of the most dynamic families to affect Tualatin's development, moved to Tualatin in the early 50's. Peggy received her Realtors® license in 1952 and began selling homes amid her duties as a mother, Cub Scout den mother and PTA president. Ten years later the couple established Metro-West Realty, with Peggy selling houses and Lee serving as engineering consultant. While Lee provided leadership to the city as councilman and mayor, helping to bring vital services to Tualatin, Peggy served on the Architectural Review Board and the Core Area Parking District. Both were instrumental in the formation of the Tualatin Business Association, now the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce, which Peggy served as President.

Metro West Realty sold 80% of the property in downtown Tualatin before and after the Urban Renewal District was formed. Our commercial division is well equipped to provide today's growing number of real estate investors with opportunities for both income and commercial properties.
